Common Gathering is a ministry of Tapestry LA Church based in Downtown Los Angeles aiming to lead people to experience and encounter the presence of the Living God through creative and authentic worship.

Launched in January of 2022, the team began making live worship covers (Give Me Jesus / Closer, I Belong To Jesus, etc.) and writing songs to share with their community. It was through these raw moments of worship that the team ultimately united under a single vision: to host the presence of God and to inspire the Church with new songs of worship.

In December 2022, Common Gathering hosted its first live recording, introducing a collection of original songs birthed in their first year of songwriting. The album, titled Broken Offering, is a collective voice of surrender and submission to God despite the imperfection of the offering. Featuring songs like "Broken Offering" and "Jesus My Everything," it was released on May 2023.

Following the release of their first album, the team continued to release cover songs that reflected the journey of their season (Mercy / When I Think About The Lord, Pure, Same God, etc.). They eventually compiled all their cover songs into one collective album, entitled Capsule, as a way of remembering and honoring the faithfulness of God through every season. Remastered and enhanced for streaming, the album was released on December 2023.

In 2024, the team released the Workroom Sessions EP, a collection of 3 originals in fresh new versions, including the newest one—"Surely Worthy."

Now in its current seaon, Common Gathering has announced its sophomore full-length album, WE WON'T LOOK AWAY, set for release on June 26, 2026. The album features 12 new original songs and includes singles such as “Call On Jesus,” “What A Friend,” “Love Letter,” and the most recent release, “Come And Exalt Him.” Written over a 2 year period, the project reflects a deepened conviction to behold Jesus and respond to His worth with wholehearted worship.

As Common Gathering continues to grow, the vision remains unchanged: to host the presence of God, serve the local church, and offer new songs of worship that encourage worshippers around the world behold and exalt Christ.
